“Calum!” Lenora skipped over and gave him a big hug before seating herself down across from him at the table. “I’m sorry it took me a bit to meet up with you! Things have been crazy since we announced the pregnancy.”

Cheerful, though, she settled into her chair. She hadn’t started to show just yet but she could feel the symptoms already -- bloating especially. And fatigue. Still, she tried not to let it impact her mood.

“How are you and Ezra doing?”

     The kids are at the shop with Xander, so she decided to take a little time for herself. She only got to enjoy the park for a few minutes before she passed out on a bench. It is only after she receives a tap on her shoulder that she wakes up. “Oh my gosh! What time is it?”

LET’S GET THIS STARTED. for my random person, we’re going with tifa @forthelaw / @bloodthirstyflower, because i love her ??  tifa is literally the best person, she’s so nice and so easy to talk to and i’m really glad i have her in my life ??  she also writes all of her muses INCREDIBLY WELL. i remember when she first sent me an ask from her phoenix i was just – SO EXCITED, because she wrote him so well and i was so ready to get something going. and then we started talking, and she brought back dahlia – who she also writes fantastically – and i just ??  she’s wonderful. she’s great at balancing phoenix’s seriousness with his silliness, and great at showing both dahlia’s super-sweet disguise and what she’s really thinking, and i love her. cries. tifa is a blessing and i do not deserve her. 

     and. and do you mean ares @dragonwilled ??  do you mean the actual sweetest person i have ever met in my life ??  seriously, i was freaking out when he followed me back, because i love the way he writes nayuta and i was just – super excited that someone so great had followed me. he puts SO MUCH WORK into researching nayuta and making sure he captures him as well as he possibly can, and i absolutely love that ??  while i don’t know as much about kamui, i love the way he writes her, too. his writing is always just a joy to read. and we started talking and he’s just ??  actually one of the nicest people i know, he’s so easy and fun to talk to and i love being around him. ares is an incredible person, and i’m just really glad i got the chance to know him ❤

Sissel was surprised when he saw the young man walking past him. He didn’t beat an eye, not looking at the black feline at all. But that wasn’t what was irritating Sissel so much that he had to turn around and follow the other man.

It was the look on his face.

Sissel couldn’t exactly pinpoint the emotions on his face. Couldn’t say if he was making a happy one or a sad one. But something had caught his attention. Something in the eyes of the young man drew a curiosity out of Sissel which he had thought he had lost years ago.

And so, he followed the young man, walking just a few steps behind him, carefully not to lose him. He waited for his chance, for a short moment where the young man would stop so that Sissel could catch his attention too.

And as soon as the young man stopped in his tracks, the black feline took his chance by letting out a loud meowing and rubbing his head gently against the stranger’s leg.

Ellie was, most definitely, not impressed by the other upon sight. To her, older people and authority figures in general tended to be boring, at best, and malicious at worst. There were few adults she’d ever liked- with her brother and Zinnia being two of them. Calum didn’t seem to be impressive, or talented, or anything else upon sight- and Ellie felt almost disappointed meeting him after building up some hope towards meeting Erza’s father.

However, the mention of dancing made her pause. The young teen nodded, her disapproving gaze shifting more into one of... curiosity. Perhaps he wasn’t that bad- although it was early to say so.

“You dance, huh? What kind of dancing?” Everything else had completely seemed to fly over her head, not bothering to reply to anything else the other had said.

Adelaide looked up from her coloring, her tone quite serious when she stated his name. Matters like this were of the utmost importance, and thus, required the just treatment they deserved.

“Oh— no, no, no!” She’s a bit frenzied as she grasps at the other’s hand, beaming despite herself; even on the worst of days, she tries to remain positively hopeful, speaking in a rush to try and reassure him. “No, I’m fine, please don’t worry about! I’m not lost, or hurt, or, or anything like that! So I promise you don’ gotta worry, okay?” There’s a scratch on her cheek that she hasn’t noticed, but otherwise she is as fine as she claims to be. “But, uh, uhm... thank you for worrying, though! It’s kind of you to do so.”
