I only noticed that your sidebar gifs change like a couple of days ago and i freaked out until i realized it only changes when you refresh or move forward. cool gifs though.

*dies* Yeah, I had a theme a couple themes ago that had space for two sidebar gifs, but then I changed and I didn't want to get rid of both gifs, so I started using a randomizer, and now I bully people into making me pretty gifs for my sidebar... XD

“Moffat’s women are basically manic pixie dream girls, of a sort anyway”. I was thinking the exact same thing and I yelled “YES. THIS.” at my screen while reading this. lol

it's a shame, cos i actually LIKE the manic pixie dream girl - it's my favourite of all the terribly shallow sexist female character archetypes.  my favourite films are the ones that subvert this - the manic pixie dream girl who is the protagonist and actually has depth (my friend thinks Amelie is one of these films)
