RED: My muse kisses your muse in the middle of a heated argument
In retrospect, Finn couldn’t even remember what it had been they were fighting about. They fought so seldomly, even though, like with everyone, there were topics where their opinions were vastly different. It was respect that made them so harmonous, the acceptance that not everyone was sharing your views and opinions and also finding the beauty in diversity.
But they had been stressed and tired and Finn had somehow started to raise his voice a little and there was that glint in Poe’s pretty eyes, the ‘challenge accepted’ glint. The challenge being shouting even louder than Finn, and while that was somewhat amusing, it also fueled Finn’s anger, because he felt like Poe wasn’t taking his irritation seriously.
And he also gave the ‘kiss me’ mouth to the ‘challenge accepted’ eyes which confused Finn. Mixed signals much? But no matter how annoyed he was, the kissing won over anything really, Poe could have stabbed him with a vibroblade and if he wanted a kiss, Finn would give him one. So he grabbed Poe by the collar of his red uniform and pulled him into a kiss that was much softer than the former soldier’s glare at the moment. His anger soon evaporated too.
Damn that man.
