Quinn couldn’t believe this was happening to her, she couldn’t believe she was being held at gun point by someone, she had just closed her studio and was walking down the few blocks to the subway station, her car had been at the shop for over 2 weeks after the motor died. Out of nowhere a guy came out and stood in front of her, he yelled at her to give him her bag, she refused and tried to walk across the street to get away. He grabbed her hand, screaming at her, calling her bitch and whore, trying to pull her bag, Quinn stupidly fought back and the man had then pulled a gun out of his pants, pointed it at her, but she had frozen, gripping her bag tightly. The guy then hit her with his fist that was holding the gun, his knuckles collided hard against her lip, busting it open, while the gun hit her on the eye making it swollen. He hit her so hard she had stumbled back, hitting the sidewalk and falling down as she twisted her ankle and hit her forehead open.
She saw as the guy took off running and it took her a few seconds to snap out of her frozen state of fear, she got up and run, the adrenaline pumping so much in her system that she barely felt the pain of her ankle or noticed the blood running down her face from her forehead and lip. She ran to the subway and straight to the entrance blockers where she knew policemen were always watching. She asked for help and once she saw the officer she had broken down in hysterics, sobbing and hyper-ventilating. The officers had called an ambulance but by the time they got there she was in full panic attack, her chest began hurting and she couldn’t breath, she heard them tell her her blood pressure was through the roof and they were taking her to the hospital. Quinn was still so out of it, shaking uncontrollably and unable to take a good breath in, she vaguely remember hearing the paramedics call the hospital to let them know they were going in with a patient with a really high blood pressure and to have someone of cardiology near by to check her.
