Fenn chuckled as he felt soft lips touch his neck. Revan managed to sneak up on him once again. Tilting his head to the side to allow more space for Revan, he grinned.

“If I knew this would wait, I would have gotten back earlier.”

Fenn yawned so hard he was afraid he would fell out his own mouth. Finally at his quarters, he moved to the bed, planning on just falling into his bed. But when he got there he suddenly realised it was already occupied by a small child.

Revan shifted slightly to allow better access to the console, thankful that her relatively small size was in fact a benefit at this moment. Looking out over the sea that covered Kamino, she felt as she might have several thousand years ago, when Carth had finally agreed to take her flying.

Her only acknowledgement to his question was a bright smile and a delighted laugh.

Fenn chuckled at her smile.

“I think you are an adrenaline junkie, Revan. This is dangerous and you still love it so much. Hang on now. “ He warned, and spun the fighter around, doing a double spin around the columns of Tipoca city, just to show off.

Fenn was nervous. He was rarely nervous these days. If he were, he wouldn’t have accepted this long term job to train soldiers on Kamino.

But he was about to meet the one and only Jango Fett, and well, that made him nervous enough. He stood in the room like a youngster - though some would say that he was actually a youngster with his twenty-five years -, pacing and waiting anxiously for the man to arrive.

Tari was quick to unwrap the candies, a genuinely pleased smile on her face. Sure, she’d take the fruit bars, but her sweet tooth was almost on par with a clone’s—-or at least the one’s she’d met.

For a moment, she paused, staring at him. Then, she stuck her tongue out at him. “I’ll give you a hug if don’t make me eat those icky fruit bars.”

Fenn watched the little one stuff her face full with candies with a small laugh.

“Oh, you don’t like fruit bars? They are sweet as honey. But I won’t force them on you. I would like a hug so much more than to make you eat sweets.” He opened his arms invitingly for the girl.

“So... a hug?”

Fenn bent down so the kid could place the creation made from mostly dead flowers onto his head.

“Thank you, T’ika. I just thought this very morning how I would love a flower crown.” He smiled widely, flicking the child’s tiny nose gently.

Fenn was man enough to admit when he was beaten. He wasn’t the best sparring partner after 12 hours of flying simulators with the cadets. Revan easily defeated him. Though the woman straddling him and ruffling his hair affectionately didn’t make him too worried about his reputation.

“Congratulations, miss. You defeated an already defeated mando.”
