It had started with a small packet of frantic mechs at her door, clamoring on about a fight on the lower decks. What she could decipher- being ‘Starscream’ and ‘energon up the wall’ was enough to set her into motion, packing up several sets of tubing clamps, some medical grade energon, nanite gel, and queuing up her programming for pain inhibitors. She ordered the crowd out of the way and was off, waving for a medic drone to follow.
Starscream had been easy enough to find, several individuals had waved her through, giving her an idea of where to look. ‘Energon up the wall’ might have been an overzealous statement but what she found wasn’t pretty. A bit of spatter was undesirable enough but the slowly pooling drip of energon coming from Starscream’s wounds were enough to spark concern.
His curt manner was to be expected. Ratchet had briefed her on just who this mech was to Cybertron- and Rewind had shared footage for her benefit as to who Starscream had been in regards to the Autobot/Decepticon War.
Not that any of that mattered. She was a doctor. And she had a job to do.
Velocity cautiously knelt at his side, “I’m afraid I can’t just walk away. Whoever did this made up my mind for me.”
She powered on her holoscope, zooming in to assess the damage to the Seeker’s wing, the source of most of his energon loss. Severe cosmetic damage, forcible amputation... Ugh what a mess.
“I need to assess your pain level,” she explained, waving the drone over to begin running scans. “From a scale of 1-10, with ten being the worst pain you have ever experienced, what rating would you give your current pain?”
