Ella realized this was a chance to ask someone about her whereabouts as well. Two Quirks: She takes Defense Against the Dark Arts very seriously-she is dead serious about learning in this class and do not mess with her when she is in this class. She is surprisingly accurate with divination, not that she’d tell anyone that.

subv:youreawizard - This takes place around the time Harry, Hermione, &Ron are at/starts Hogwarts. Ella grew up in an orphanage outside of London, when she was younger she would always get in trouble for sneaking out into the woods, eventually though she was left alone to do as she pleased since she always came back unharmed. Whilst in the woods she would seemingly make flowers grow, she would move things whenever she thought it. Whatever this was made her feel safe so she stayed in the orphanage. As she grew up though, weird things started happening more often. When a kid from the orphanage was being bullied or Ella would get upset things would happen, cabinets would open and close on their own, glass would seemingly implode, rocks would start throwing themselves at the person Ella was upset with. This led to her never being adopted, and the adults at the orphanage or those kids who were older would ignore her and leave her be- this led to Ella feeling very lonely and isolated. She spent most of her time taking care of the babies who were amazed by the  strange happenings.

She didn’t remember her parents, she was in hospital sick with pneumonia when they were killed. Apparently, they had gone home to change clothes when thieves who were in the homes killed them. Thus 3 year old Ella was left with no family, and she was left on her own at the orphanage. She got an answer of who her parents were though when she after accidentally made a tree fall in anger, she received a letter- from an owl? She had thought surely it was a joke, a school of magic? What kind of horrible joke were the kids playing? But she recognized the insignia from one of the few things she still had from her parents. So she went looking, hoping to learn something about her parents. This is how she managed to find out that she did in fact have magic, and she could leave the orphanage that had isolated her for so long. She also learned that her parents were killed by someone names Voldemort or “He Who Shall Now Be Named”, or one of his supporters. She also learned her mother married a muggle man, she had been a big advocate for muggle-magic interactions, and this caused her and her family to be a target.

subv:aftermath: This verse takes place when Harry, Ron, Hermione, &Ginny’s kids are starting Hogwarts. Her parents were still killed by Voldemort, and she still is raised at the orphanage, and finds out about her parents true death. Her anger is not only at Voldemort and his followers, but at Harry Potter and his friends- which could extend to the kids. She blames them for taking so long to fight Voldemort, this of course is displaced anger.

subv:thebattlebegins: This verse is as Voldemort starts to rise, in the time of Harry’s parents and before Voldemort is defeated for the first time. Her mother and father were still killed due to the prejudice of muggle-magic marriages, no one knew they had a daughter though until she enters Hogwarts. She then has to face the same prejudice and dangers as her parents. She also aids in the fight against Voldemort, she later can become someone in the Order of the Phoenix who helps protects Harry.  

Overall, When Ella is at Hogwarts she is serious about studying. Due to long isolation at the orphanage she really never spoke, and this doesn’t change when she goes to Hogwarts. She doesn’t speak much, and she is very guarded, she finds it hard to trust others. She is amazed by the wizarding world, and wants to learn all she can, she she does it in secret since she would rather not be made fun of, since she already fears being made fun for not being a ‘pure’ wizard. Her bark is worse than her bite, if you get her to open up and she comes to care for you she will be protective of you as she was protective of the kids in the orphanage.

Ella was currently in the Hog Head’s pub, after a long day at work though it wasn’t done quite yet. She had a pint of wizard’s brew in front of her, and a book. Things changed as she got older, but the one thing that was consistent was when she wasn’t working she had a book in her face. She was reading when someone sat across from her, and she glanced up sighing and closed the book. “ ‘Ello. “

“W-what...what was that?” Ella couldn’t help but be surprised, she was still new to this world and honestly whatever that was had just scared the crap out of her.

❝I think you're on my foot...❞ Ella said after a few moments, when the person hadn’t moved. She didn’t think they were on her foot, she knew they were, but she figured it was nicer to say it that way, and better than kicking them off.

“Oh, oh! I am terribly sorry!” Ella said, offering the stranger an apologetic look, before glancing around to see if she had made the person drop anything as she clutched the map tighter in her hand.
