Wade hadn't been back to the Institute for weeks. Work had kept him away. Did he tell Ororo every single detail of what he did while he was away? No There were some things she didn't need to know about him and what he did to earn money was one of them. He kinda got the impression that she wouldn't approve anyway. Whenever they had spoken on the phone during his absence, he skirted around the details, keeping it all as vague as he could.

Not that mattered now anyway. He was heading back to her finally. He had missed her. He had been surprised by how much he had missed her in fact. He hadn't told her when he would be arriving, wanting to surprise her instead.

He arrived in the middle of the day while she was busy teaching the little mutants how to mutant. He sneaked into her office and waited. He sat at her desk, grabbed some paper and a pen and started to doodle to idle away the time until Ororo would be done teaching.

My muse's reaction to ... yours flashing my muse

Wade had tried to be on his best behaviour, he really had. He stayed away from Ororo during those times when she might be getting changed. He hadn't even been near her underwear drawer. However all of this good behaviour was beginning to wear him down. Surely one little peek wouldn't hurt too much. He would heal from the lightning bolts the Weather Witch would throw his way regardless.

He climbed up to the second floor where Ororo's quarters were in the main part of the Xavier mansion. He leaned in and looked into the window to see Ororo inside, combing her long, silver hair in the mirror. Immediately she spotted him and Wade panicked. Any moment, bolts of electricity were surely going to pass through his body as he scrambled to hang on to the window ledge. He pressed himself flat against the wall as he waited for the lightning but the lightning never came. She had definitely spotted him, they had made eye contact and everything. So where was the punishment she had promised him if he tried to misbehave?

He took a deep breath and dared to take another peek through the window. Ororo had moved away from her spot in front of the mirror and was now standing in the middle of the room. She smirked as she pulled at the tie on her bath robe and opened it to show just how naked she was underneath that robe.

Wade didn't need a lightning bolt to make him fall from the second story window. The shock of Ororo flashing him was enough on its own. Sure, he broke his ankle and a couple of ribs in the fall but hell, it was worth it.

It was 3 am and Wade was lonely. The Xavier mansion was incredibly quiet, not a mutant was stirring. Shit. How boring and definitely not going to fix Wade's loneliness. He wandered the halls of the mansion, his emotions bordering on anxious as he hoped someone would just appear out of their room and suddenly want to spend time with him.

He reached Ororo's room and he paused. Would she take him in at this late hour? Would she be pissed off for waking her? Only one way to find out. He knocked on her door and waited for her to answer.

"Hey. I know it's late. I'm sorry. But... Wanna cuddle?"
