Update
Hello loves. Hope you’re all doing well and looking after yourselves.
My hand and wrist still aren’t great. I’m having to take painkillers every day to keep the nasty achy feeling away and wearing a super sexy wrist brace too.
For the time being, the hiatus is going to have to continue I’m afraid because typing one handed sucks!

OOC: Unfortunate News
Oh dear. I would seem I need to put everything on hold again. My RSI (repetitive strain injury) in my right hand and wrist has come back with a vengeance, which means I need to spend the weekend resting my hand or risk making the injury worse. I can’t afford to be signed off work right now; plus intense pain sucks big donkey balls so I don’t want it.
Sorry to mess people around. I don’t really have a choice in the matter.

Finding a scar that Wade had carried with him since before the cancer and Weapon X is a struggle but Naomi is a determined type of gal and her fingers sweeping over his scarred skin were eager to know every single inch better than he knew it himself. He had even forgotten about the deep looking scar he had on his shoulder; that is until Naomi found it.
He flinched and for once, he fell silent. His mind scrambled to pull the memory of how he got the scar from the depths of his jumbled brain. He had trouble dissembling the real from the imaginary, just like always. He was almost 100% sure the scar wasn't from a pack of biker dolphins who didn't like the cut of his jib. He flinched again when the real memory surfaced.
"You're gonna ask questions, aren't you?" He said after too many moments of silence. He tried to think of a way of making a joke about it. Should he joke about such things, considering it wasn't something one could usually find humour in?
He took hold of her hand, the one that had found the scar in the first place and interlaced his fingers with hers. Holy shit, was he trembling? Shit, he really was. When was the last time he had thought about this part of his life, let alone spoken about it?
"I'm going to tell you a story but you've got to help me stay on track, OK? You know how my brain works. As soon as I start straying off course, you've gotta tell me, alright? Otherwise I'll end up telling you that I got this scar in a bar fight with a bunch of dolphins and that ain't the truth. I want to tell you the truth."

The Reaping
Jane nodded. She only wanted to get some sleep. Her head hurt from all the crying and maybe some sleep would make her forget. At least for a few hours.
"Maybe you should go and look after the boy?"
Wade nodded a couple of time at her suggestion. He could see she wanted some time alone and he was going to respect that.
"Yeah, I'll check in on him. But listen, I don't sleep. If you need company, I might not be the best company but I'll be around in one of the other compartments, alright? Good night, Jane."
Jane: "Tacos? Really? I've never had one."
Wade stopped what he was doing and slowly turned towards the tiny science lady, his mouth hanging open slightly.
"What did you just say?"
"And what do you want to do about it?"
"This isn't funny. Stop laughing. This is very serious and I can't believe that you're laughing. I thought you were a serious scientist!"
"We're going to Taco Bell now."
A chuckle blew past her smirk,”No, I do not mind.” Resting fingertips underneath his chin Ororo brought her lips up to brush along his. “Or you can kiss me Wade.”
"Just wanted to make sure you're alright with me kissing you, that's all. Not everyone wants Deadpool all up in their faces making with the kissy face."
{Marker meme} Wade grins as he takes the lid off of the marker. He waits until Ororo is distracted enough for him to get away with writing on her smooth skin. He writes the words "tastes better than tacos" on her leg and starts to laugh. Any moment now she was going to strike him with lightning for what he had done. Totally worth it, maybe!
Ororo looked down feeling something wet on her leg. One reading of the line told her who did it.
"And just how would you know?"
"I don’t recall giving you such liberties yet, maybe not ever now."
Ororo consider it for moment before wordlessly rolling the mask up passed his lips. She took her time about it incase Wade held any objections but Ororo didn’t really imagine any would be forthcoming and didn’t wait too long before pressing her lips to his. Short but long enough to be sweet, she pulled back smiling warmly, “There, better?”
Wade, for once, fell silent as she rolled up his mask and gently placed her lips against his. He felt all warm and tingly as she kissed him. He wanted more but he knew better than to just take.
"Better. Although you might wanna run that past me again, if you don't mind?"
