“Uh, hi, I’m here to do the piece on the recent Raven King killings? You requested a Daily Planet reporter?”
Kara’s only been to the precinct once, when she was much younger. She’d be surprised if anyone recognizes her now-- especially because she knows Detective Hol likes to keep her personal life personal and her work like at work. Now she’s here in an official capacity, a visitor badge pinned to the left breast of her cardigan and her press pass slung around her neck on a lanyard.
“I’m Kara Kent-Hol, I was told I’d be conducting the interview with the case leads.”
She doesn’t see Detective Hol anywhere in the bullpen, but it’s a big precinct and she could be anywhere-- though she thought she might at least be there to meet her when she knew perfectly well she was coming for a coordinated interview. The officer she’s asking directs her to an austere desk that’s covered in case files and a few junk food wrappers, and not a single personal item in sight. The other detectives have family photos and knickknacks on theirs, but the only thing that gives this desk away as belonging to Shayera is the nameplate at the corner, half buried under paperwork.
