  Brushing his fingers through his hair   Hans leans heavily on the counter   as he listens to the latest news of   the case between the Scandes v.   Eugene Fitzherbert. 

  He'd gotten into trouble again   and need Hans to get him out.   Though he figures Eugene would   have rather had any other lawyer.   Especially with who he's funded by.

  That's not the point though, Eugene   is going to have to get better at his    so called "profession" or not even   Hans would be able to make this   go away.

  Snapping the phone shut, Hans    throws it on the counter and moves   into the living area. Where his   client was lounging on the   sofa, feet propped up like he   lived there. 

  Scowling, Hans walks by and smacks   his feet from it before sitting down    beside him. 

    "Caught on a security camera        Fitzherbert? Really, I thought       you were a professional."

Mikael Fredrickson originally created the Dark Knights, meant to be a vigilante group after his son Niklaus and wife Esther were killed by a street gang, however the temptation of power and control over all the gangs in Seattle was too strong, and Mikael ultimately became a crime family boss.

King: Niklaus Prince & Princess: Elijah & Elianna Dukes & Duchesses: elite members, the most trusted Counts & Countesses: highly skilled, most lethal Baron & Baroness: drug dealers Lancer: High ranked officials/controllers Swordsman: Enforcers, killers, murderers, etc. Shield Bearer: Body Guards, tough guys Page: Street corner thugs.

     Elianna stood next to her twin brother, watching as the crew members of the mafia shuffled into the large room. She turned her head to her brother. "The new recruits don't look al that touch this year." She whispered to her older brother. She leaned against his shoulder and slid her hand through his, weaving her fingers with his. Her eyes traveled the expanse of the room. She raised an eyebrow at her brother and then looked out again. 

     "Niklaus welcomes you all. For the next four hours, we shall wheedle out those who will be in the hierarchy, and those of you who will fall to the slums. Do not be discouraged if you are a low ranker by the end of this, because every one of you is vital in our task to gain control of the city and have an empire."

     "And let's begin. North, East. You are with me. South, West, you are with Elianna. And remember, Niklaus will make the decision in the end, he is watching, always."
