Peter had never felt so exhausted. His body ached. It screamed at him to stop moving. At first he had gotten a rush of adrenaline that pushed him to defeat Toomes and scale Cyclone to rest. But once he sat down he realized just how tiring everything had been. Luckily he healed quickly, but that took a lot of energy which he did not have. Not to mention he looked terrible.
He couldn’t go home. And he couldn’t sleep on the street. He had to go somewhere. His thoughts drifted to the Avengers-- no Stark-- no... someone’s Tower. It was sold, but it was moving day so Peter assumed he could get in and crawl in a corner and sleep.
So that’s what he did, he mustered the energy to swing to the Tower and landed on the landing pad. He was cradling his ribs when he landed and stumbled a bit. He was in a lot of pain. He hobbled inside and was a bit surprised to see Mr. Stark there. He had assumed he was on some far off foreign trip. “H-- hey.”
