Dinner And A Movie

   Alex was laughing at the last text as she opened the door, of course he was jealous. What was he even saying? She kept a smile on her face, continuing her laughter as she stood on the side, holding the door for him to bring in the stuff he bought. "You really did take a while though, I was starting to wonder if you made five or six side trips." As Joel walked in, she shut the door behind him, locking it quickly before following in behind him. 

    "So what did you end up getting? Everything on the list?"

Differences

   She quirked a brow at Maggie's text messages. What in the world was going on? Was she right? What in the world would they be fighting over? ..In her mind, she knew, but there were a million more questions she needed answers to before she could make any assumptions. Alex stormed into the room, seeing Joel standing in the room, looking completely distressed in a way.

   "If what Maggie told me was right, what in the hell happened between you two?" questioned Alex, anger filling her tone. "Bigger question being who started it."

Alex: Where are you?

The Invitation

  Alex couldn't believe she actually admitted it in the first place. She'd wanted that for a while, but was more than willing to keep her mouth shut, especially after what happened with Charlie. For the moment, not being exactly sure had to take a backseat after the text messages she just sent out. There were a few things Alex Reid wanted to keep to herself, what she still felt for Joel Goran was something she wanted to keep locked up, at least for a while.

  That was no longer the case after what she admitted, maybe a bit of it. She may have fessed up to a minuscule amount, but she didn't want her words to pour out too quickly. For now she sat on the couch in her tank top and jogging pants, aimlessly flipping through channels on the tv, waiting on him to come over. Was he just saying it? Or was he actually going to come over? She remained curious as she left the door unlocked.

Alex: What are your plans for Christmas Eve?

Evening In

    She couldn't believe she was doing this, especially after the slight drama she knew this would cause, but she still couldn't believe she agreed to begin with. Then again, there as no backing out now. Alex was already on her way over to meet up with Joel. She parked her car and made her way to his front door, her mind was still going back and forth on the idea. Still, she rethought, no going back on it now. Already confirmed that I was coming, even though she could just leave, but she honestly thought that would be a bit rude.

    The woman tapped her foot, crossing her arms after she knocked on the door, waiting for him to answer. She didn't want it to be awkward, but her lip bite suggested otherwise.
