Forget You | Davina & Joel
The young witches life had been turned upside down in a matter of months. She no longer lived with her parents, she doubted that they even cared about her. She now lived with Marcel and he always got what he wanted no matter the costs. Whenever Davina would do something that he didn't particularly like, she ended up bruised and bloody. She had learned how to cover up most of the bruises and cuts, but she knew that they would never truly fade. The memories along with the scars would haunt her for the rest of her life.
It took a lot of courage, but one day the young girl decided that she had enough. With Marcel out for the evening, and nobody keeping an eye on her, she packed her bags, took what little money she had and headed north. She had no idea where she was going but she knew she needed to leave and fast before he found out that she had left him. The young girl didn't have a lot of money so she ended up sleeping in alleyways and used what little money she did have for food. She would walk until she could walk no more and then she would rest of the night.
After what seemed like months, Davina finally felt that she was a safe distance away and she felt like she could finally breathe easily. She had a little money left over, so she popped into a tiny diner for a warm meal. She savored every single bite and before too long, she paid and then left. As she walked outside, the young girl didn't realize how cold it really was outside. It was much colder than she was used to. She wrapped her arms around her tiny frame to try and get warm and she began her journey to find shelter for the night.
As she went to take a step further she turned her head to see a bright light coming towards her. She heard someone yelling "watch out!", it was too late. She felt something strong and heavy hit her small frame and her body went flying in the air and landed in a heap on the ground, her head making a loud thud noise as it hit the pavement. There was now a small pool of blood forming underneath her head. Davina had lost consciousness as her head smacked the pavement and her eyes remained closed as the sound of sirens rang off in the distance.
