Gods were not usually something so prominent in modern life in Tokyo anymore, but shrines still existed all over. People only ever often went to them in order to pray for fortune, quite greedy, at least so Simon thought. He went out walking one day, as he usually did, passing by the shrines as usual, and stopping at every one.
His prayers were simple, and every 5 yen coin came with the same wish. "Please protect my friends and family, whatever harm may come their way, I only want what is best for them"
And in this day and age, he was going to need it. Lately there'd been so much negativity and depression flowing around. Reports of suicides and murders springing up everywhere like a plague. He could only pray that none of his friends ever fell victim to it...
With his wish made, he stands, turns, and walks away from the last shrine, starting to head towards home...
"I am the mighty ghost Amane and you should fear me. Beware!" Pay no attention to the spirit who's being a goof after watching cartoons.
