Maybe he might have been a little too prepared for Jyugo’s clothes to get ruined and he was even more excited to force him into what he’d brought. “I’d like to see you try.” So far he thought he’d proven himself pretty immortal.
Once Jyugo has dressed Elf let out a whistle, snickering. “It’s all I had in your size, you’re taller than me. Come on buddy it looks nice~” A lie but Jyugo didn’t need to know that.
“My new boss has been feeding me mystery colorful liquids which I’m assuming are melted popsicles in a cup cause of the sticks. I’ve had three so far and the blue was my favorite.” he’s starting to feel a little sick though since it’s all he’s had.
On the outskirts of London, what he thought was out of Wizard territory, James covered his head with the pillow on his rented bed. "Why is there such a ruckus?!" He stood quickly and got dressed, annoyance controlling his movements. One group of odd sounding young adults stood behind the Inn popping off fireworks. Americans of course. He scoffed and went to the bar, ordering a drink, muttering about the noises.
"What do you want? To make more snide comments from your high horse? I know I am an addict. I'm dealing with it, the best I can." Eyes on his book, he read the same sentence once again. Frustrated, he closed the book and sighed while running his fingers through his hair. He wanted to pretend he was fine, treat the addiction like a cold, and move on. In reality he had not had a lick of alcohol for a few days. The cocaine however, was only hours ago and he wanted more.

Saying he was part of the Resistance left a bitter taste in his mouth, but frankly, what choice did he have? The First Order didn’t deserve his loyalty, not out of their beliefs, but because it was illogical to be loyal to a cause that was so disloyal to him that regardless of his views, they would likely terminate him as soon as they saw him, just for being captured.
The Resistance base was just as filthy as ever, and Nines knew kriffing well that half the people here didn’t trust him as far as they could throw him. Not that he particularly cared. As long as they had his back in a fight, they could say whatever they wanted.
He was still trying to figure out this ‘freedom’ lark that they kept banging on about. The word was in air quotes because it certainly felt a lot like chaos. In this case, he was referring to the mess hall, having selected his food based on nutritional value. Now, the tables were mobbed, with no rhythm or rhyme to who was sat where, nor established intervals, nor-- It would have been easy to get lost in the sea of anarchy, but Nines had a rule. Find the first open seat, sit down, eat, talk to whoever wanted to talk to him, then leave. That was all there was to it. Everything would continue as normal, right down to the guy walking past him.
Except--
“--Mirrors?” His tone was rife with disbelief as he stared, dumbfounded at the guy. No...it couldn’t be...could it?

“Well if it isn’t Orihime-chan, what’s got you showin’ up here of all places? Don’t you know it’s dangerous to go wandering about?"
The corners of his mouth curled up at how lost she seemed to be, weak and stuck here in an unfamiliar place with beings that could kill her in an instant if they wanted to. The girl’s luck wasn't that bad since she crossed him before others. She could have been luckier if she had stumbled upon the guard dog assigned to her by Aizen, or possibly that goody-two-shoes Tousen.
Really he could hardly care about the girl and just feed her to the vermin that filled this world.
"Y’know it was quite the feat to come here without coming across anyone, you’re lucky."
// This is how I see Sirius immediately after Peter faking his death:
-It’s canon Sirius laughed as the Aurors took him away, as Sirius realized what he had just lost & thus laughed not out of joy, but from the sheer weight of it all.
-He went into psychological shock, & never defended himself. He fought against the Aurors when they tried to take him to Azkaban, but they overpowered him.
-Sirius screamed when being left with the dementors, but that died down too as they sucked all joy from him. Not that he had very much left at this point.
-He spent several days in holding prior to being sent to Azkaban; Sirius still never got a trial, but spent roughly a week in a holding cell before being taken to Azkaban.
-Sirius continued to be in a detached state for a while afterwords, & did not speak for some time. He had no one to talk to.
-Many of his emotions were muted, & he would often just sit and stare blankly at the wall across from him. Other times he’d watch outside of his cell, waiting for dementors to come by. They loved flocking to the newcomers as much as they loved flocking to the near dead.
-When Sirius began to realize what really had happened to him, & that he was truly alone, Sirius would swing between laughing hysterically and/or bitterly and sobbing. One often turned into another.
