The world was a lot quieter than she remembered, though she knew part of the reason behind that was her being alone now. After Noah escaped she had just enough time to run before Dawn and the other “officers” caught up to her. She’d don’t what she’d set out to do, escape and get Noah out as well - the one thing she’d been striving for during her near two month stay at Grady Memorial. Beth didn’t stay in the walker infested city of Atlanta for long - it was too dangerous and she’d been too close to being caught again to feel content with her current situation. The long road out of Atlanta wasn’t safe either, she was heading pretty close to where her families farm was - or used to be. Beth didn’t quite know if it was even still standing the odds of the fire spreading were pretty low since the grass was pretty damp.
Softly she sang to herself, just to hear something other than the groans of the dead and the sound of her feet scrapping on the pavement as she took each step. She was very aware of her surroundings, so she stayed off the main road off in the trees making sure she wasn’t spotted by anyone who drove by - but very keen about keeping a look out for her group as well. Beth turned when she heard the small roar of an engine - probably on a truck or large vehicle. She ducked behind some bushes hoping it was enough to conceal her body.
