"How am I supposed to help convince him if he hates me?"

♥ I Still Won't Say It ~INFATUATED M!A~ {with khaxs}
"Bahamut, I need to speak with you." Lightning walked over to the dragon, her hands balled into tight fists and determination coating any sign of nervousness the warrior was feeling. She had to tell her. Or at least ask her. It had been bothering the rosette for what seemed like forever. And she desperately wanted to know how the eidolon felt about the woman's new inner findings.

♥ I Won't Say It ~INFATUATED M!A~ {with santisantiquimlieri}
It took all of the woman's effort but hell she was going to do it. She had known Vanille for quite sometime now and it bothered her to just now find out she had such strong feelings for the Oerban. Lightning tapped Vanille on the soldier. Her skin was soft to the touch and made the rosette's heart skip a beat and beat faster than usual. Her cheeks painted a bright pink.
"Vanille, I-I need to ask you something..."

✬ Adults Don't Use Chairs {with starvhope}
starvhope:
"You’re really heavy, Lightning! This is unfair! Why can’t you sit on a chair like an adult, or sit on Serah or something??"
Hope was comfortable enough with Lightning to be rude and defiant to her games, but he was still much too naive to notice when he was being teased by close friends for reactions he easily gave. He was not strong enough to shove her off of his lap, or maybe he was and he didn’t want to quite see his sister figure fall over onto the ground and scrape her skin by his hands…
“I am not heavy. You’re just weak. Adults don’t use chairs. Serah’s out with Snow. 'Something' doesn’t really specify what else I can sit on, I need something to work off of Hope.”
The rosette readjusted herself on the boy, her words were short and had no emotion. Lightning was glad that they had this type of bond. Nothing really silent and nothing awkward just a calm sibling-like relationship. It was a relief to know Hope was there for her after Snow and Serah had reached each other again. Serah spent time with Lightning but not nearly as much as she used to. And Hope was really easy to get along with she had noticed. They could be rude to each other and know whether or not the other was joking.Things like this made Lightning want to smile. And she almost did. Almost.

Dear kind soul Dear civilian Dear asshole Dear friend Dear person I don’t even know Dear what the heck Farron? - Dear personnel who has decided to write to the Commandos Marine,
Thank you. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to sit down and write to us. My squad usually doesn't get any letters during the holiday season for whatever reason. But that doesn't matter. Whether you decided to write a heartfelt letter back or not, I don’t care. It’s just nice to know that someone is reading our writing. I don’t have much left to say other than it’d be deeply appreciated if you wrote my men back if you are taking on the task of doing more than one letter. I’m sure they are writing a heck of a lot more than I am. I’m not expecting you to write back. It was kind of you to read this letter.
Have a wonderful holiday season, First Lieutenant Lightning Farron of the Commandos Marine -
The young lieutenant looked over her letter. It had been the tenth letter she wrote that evening and just like all the others it failed to meet her expectations. Rose tiers altered themselves into a disappointed frown as cerulean optics scanned over the letter with distaste. It was okay compared to the pitiful other trials she had written. It was almost sixteen hundred,
All officers would have to turn in the letter they wrote before it hit the twenty exact in the hour. Lightning gathered the letter and folded it, sliding it into the envelope provided. Before sealing said envelope the soldier took a deep breath. She thought of life outside of the battlefield, she thought of her sister. Times like these when they had been granted communication with the outside world, even if it was for commercialization it was nice to known And hope that someone out there had read something you wrote personally…. A little personally.
The rosette caught sight of the clock and quickly sealed the envelope and reported to her commanding officer handing him the letter promptly. It was a waste of time she realized once she returned to her bunk. Her squad never got letters back from the commercial Christmas program. She wondered why she wasted so much time trying to perfect the letter if it wasn’t even worth it. It angered the lieutenant to no end she had wasted so much time on that idiotic letter. The knock on the door signaled it was time to retire for the night and Lightning Farron did just that silently hoping and wishing in the back of her head that maybe this year it would be different. This year maybe someone would write back to her squad. Maybe. Her thoughts were drifted away into mindless slumber.
