Perfect Weekend.

Go to a music festival

   Elijah had to put his fingers in his ears the music was loud, and he could barely hear himself think. "Damon!" He called, "What are we doing here?!" The fact that Damon had convinced him to dress down out of his suits, wear a leather jacket, a t-shirt and torn jeans was crazy enough, but the fact that he then convinced him to go to a music festival full of... bands called - Fall Out Boy and... Whatever the hell that on the stage to his left was, was baffling to him. "I can't hear myself think!" He called to Damon, He squinted and looked through the crowd to the band playing on stage.

    He rubbed his face furiously whilst standing on the side of the road. He slammed his fist down on the top of Damon's car. "I'll kill you myself if you do this. I will storm in there and snap your neck if you even think about being the driver. I've lost Finn, Rebekah, Kol, Hayley and the baby; I will NOT lose you." He walked around the car and got in front of Damon. He reached out and grabbed him by the jaw, staring into his eyes. "Don't. do. this." He whispered, pleadingly.

        It hadn't taken much to stir this. Elijah had contemplated in his room for quite some time about what he was going to do - and when he finally decided, he didn't hesitate. If he hesitated, he wouldn't go through with it. And Elijah knew the threat of losing this chance, this moment, was a little too much for him.

        He quietly entered Damon's room. He strolled forward and yanked Damon up. Elijah tossed him back against the wall across the room. He blurred forward, his hand on Damon's throat, he had him pinned. He leaned in and grabbed the younger man by the lips with his own. His best friend; he wouldn't take no as an answer.

            "The deed is done." He stood quietly in the corner of Damon's room in the compound. "Your safety has been assured. You may stay as long as you wish."
