Hundreds of years had passed since he was imprisoned in this Marble Mountains. No humans dared to go to this place with all the rumors that the Spiritual Realm spread through the human world. Days became longer and he couldn’t even count how many had passed. Florian knew why he was imprisoned but one day, he knew that he would escape this place.
He looked at the table where the candles symbolizing the seals that chained him in the place and let out a sigh. For hundreds of years, no one knew he was there, only selected monsters and the deities knew. Even if how he wished that there would be a human for him to trick to let him out, it might take another century or more for that to happen. Maybe he should just give up.
Florian shook his head and laughed at himself. “You are the most powerful of all, Florian. Don’t you even dare to think to give up.”
From his chambers, he heard the door of his prison open. He closed his eyes and listened to whoever it was. There was silence for a little while until he heard light footsteps once more. After a few more minutes, Florian decided to come out of his chambers and there he saw something moving. He followed them and immediately hit the table and the beam nearby.
When they didn’t disappear, he stopped and examined what seemed to be a girl. He raised an eyebrow at her. “I thought you were some kind of pest, but what is a human child doing here?”
He lowered himself and moved his face closer to the child. “Are you here to get eaten?”
