Little fact regarding V'era's birthday:

Her birthday was initially going to be October 23rd, the day her ask blog was created. But I decided it'd be September 21st instead because that was when I made my first actual drawing of her. Therefore, that's essentially when she came into existence as an actual OC.

P.S. I'm making a 1 year anniversary drawing for this blog, and I'm hoping to get it out by the day of such. That is, if life doesn't interfere. Stay tuned!

Heyyy V'eeerrraaaaaa!~

*stirs before rolling over in bed to face me, sitting up slightly* What now...? I'm trying to catch a nap here.

You've been asleep all day, V! Not only that, you're sleeping through a very special day!

*cocks an eyebrow whilst tilting head slightly* What "special day"? What are you meddling in?

Only the most special day of the year, especially for you! A day worthy of celebration! And as such, this celebratory day calls for something sweet 'n delicious! *snaps fingers, upon which a large cake materializes in my hands, decorated with lit candles and icing that reads "Happy Birthday"* Congratulations, you've officially reached 1 year of existence! *I say with an inhumanly wide grin*

*stares for a moment, grimacing as eyes look back and forth from the cake to Utau and vice versa* You couldn't just simply say "Happy Birthday"...?

It's cliché, besides being primarily used by mortals, which we aren't. Sooo yeah! Now come on, get up and come outside! this cake isn't gonna eat itself!~

*sighs before fully sitting up and turning to place both feet on the floor, still wearing a grimace* Fine, but please no unsavory surprises this time. I don't need any more fuel to my nightmares. *stands up from bed and walks to dresser* Let me just find something to w-

No problem!~ *snaps fingers again, this time a plume of whispy essence envelops V'era, and upon clearing reveals her dawning a formal outfit comprised of a deep purple and black Victorian-style dress, making her look like that of a princess* Now then, shall I escort you to the party, Your Majesty?~ *bows forward while outstretching a hand to V'era still grinning*

*stares at Utau with a very irritated expression, standing stiffly upright with hands clenched into fists down at sides, before speaking through gritted teeth* You just can't help but be utterly insufferable at times, can you...?

Hmm, don't you mean Passionate?~ Heeheeheehee...

*groans while facepalming* Well, it's better than what I endured on your birthday...whatever, let's go. *walks up to Utau and grasps their hand*

*emits a giddy chittering cackle* Away we go!!!~ *teleports away in another plume of magic essence, V'era in tow*

Hello hello hello, Mod here!~ Huge apologies for the lengthy lack of activity here, I came down with yet another nasty case of Covid a little while ago, and now it seems that has led to Long Covid (didn't think it would ever happen, but I guess I got unlucky this time😞) and that has really been hampering my energy to draw(or do anything really😤). Fortunately, I'm getting to where I can gather myself again and get back to doing what I wanna do, especially with my Enderchild here! While I don't have any new art to put here yet, I do want to show a little bit of what V'era's been up to. Namely…

Yep, she's got a new friend now!!! A ghastly friend, at that! I don't have a name for them yet, so if y'all got some suggestions for Ghast names, feel free to share them(I'm not always the best at finding names for new characters of mine, so it might be a bit before I decide on one)! I'm thinking of something relating to fire, since they were found in the Nether. I plan to make a little comic thing that goes into more detail regarding the encounter that would become a new friendship. I think that'll be my next priority after I finish V'era's ref. But this is all I got for now! I'll be getting back to the joys of creation! Stay tuned!🖤

Hello! Nice to meet you as well...Zen, yes? You're...quite an interesting looking fellow. I've never seen an Enderman with hair before...nor such odd apparel. Not to be rude, but I am rather bemused.

Preventative Measure

"As long as I can remember, I've had quite a...Phantom Dilemma. Everywhere I go, they follow me, hunt me, preventing me from fully indulging in the energy of night. So much so that I've had to resort to a..."Preventative Measure", of sorts. An elixir, crafted via trial and error, to be taken every 3 days to induce a full-night's sleep (since I cannot enter such on my own, given that we do not require sleep). This remedy has fortunately proven effective, allowing me to roam the night without distrust of the open skies. I yearn that such holds up for the long-term, at least until I can devise a longer-lasting, if not permanent solution."
