Ignoring the odd looks they were earning from the more rational members of society, Vrai dedicated their hands and expert eye to art. Well, chalk art, but art nonetheless! They’d never played with chalk as a child and refused to miss out on the opportunity, even if it looked a bit silly for an adult to be drawing on the sidewalk.

Drawing quite badly, too. Not that skill or quality was the issue here.

Noticing a small shadow in their peripheral vision, Vrai turned, smiling softly, to squint at a little blonde girl watching him work.

      “... I have enough for two. There’s plenty of room if you want to join me.”

Usually, that being, on most days, Vrai could peg themselves as a lawful neutral or even a true neutral as far as their thought process and instinctual actions went. Do no harm, be part of no harming action.

Occasionally, though, when they were overwhelmed with mischief and the thrill of their own ability to do petty evils, they would take the middle ground and do something bad but not unspeakbly so.

Breaking and entering with the purpose of doing some hardcore window shopping after hours, for example. They’d been eyeing some material in here for a while and what better time to indulge than when they were feeling... crime-y?

Vrai let out a little, self-indulgent giggle around the extra pick in their mouth as they worked the doors lock expertly, hands steady, eyes unwavering. Hesitance and half-assery wasn’t in their nature after all.

Vrai could normally toss themselves into a conversation like surfers with their waves - with enthusiasm, with reckless abandon, with confidence born from experience.

When it came to certain factors, however, it was difficult to get their thoughts figured out. Cute things, in particular, threw them for a loop.

  “Oh my fuck,” they gestured at the cane in the area, all being at the beck and call of one impressive looking man.

  “Sir, you have so many dogs. How. How does it feel to have the power of so many dogs at your heels - literally, at your feet, in this case.”

Vrai finished their shift smelling of heavy spices and baked bread, a disconnected hum buzzing on their lips. They’d managed to grab some leftover food for the weekend - perks of sweet talking the sous-chef on the regular - and god, did it smell good.

They were tempted to eat while walking, a dangerous movement that had nearly always failed them in the past. Unfortunately, Vrai felt there was no harm in repeating something that only delivered harmless mistakes into their usually bruised arms.

Just as suspected, spatial awareness had not been suddenly gifted to Vrai in the span of four hours and they bumped into someone rather loudly - loudly because they let out an indistinct gasping noise upon contact, one of their newly trained responses.

  “Yikes, yikes, yi- Oh, hello there handsome! I got spahgetti sauce on your jacket!”
