Welcome to the Circus (closed RP with @claremontscrawler)
The streets of Munich Germany were bustling with sounds and noises of the townspeople as they walked the stone streets, went into shops or sat outside at the tables of local Cafe’s. The crowd only seemed to clear of the streets for the Horse drawn Carriages and Buggies. The clacking sound of a horse’s hooves signaled a group of people to clear a path. As they do a large carriage pulled by a white horse enters view with a circus trailer hitched to the back of it. There were two people sitting in the carriage. A man about 45 dressed in Ringmaster attire driving the carriage and in the passenger seat a young 17 year old girl who wore a Victorian dress reading a book.
“Munich looks so much bigger when you actually visit it than how it looks when you see photos in a book.” The young girl said as she smiled closing the book and sat it down beside her in the seat and looked at the beautiful scenery.
“Looks are not everything Megan my dear.” The man said as he smiled softly at her. “I know father.” Megan said as she continued taking in the town’s beauty.
The horse drawn carriage continued through the town then moved onto the the dusty paths leading into the forest. Megan was curious as to why they were heading into the forest. Looking at her father with curiosity. “Father why can’t we stay in the town? The people look very friendly to me.”
A small frown crossed the man’s lips as he looked at her from the corners of his eyes. She had forgotten. “They maybe Megan, but remember you are very special. Different from normal humans. If we were to live in the town and the townspeople saw you in your natural form. They may try to kill you. That is why we are going in the forest to keep you safe.” The thought of people trying to kill her sent chills down Megan’s spine as she looked at her father and nodded in agreement. “I understand father.” Megan said.
The carriage comes to a stop in a clearing deep in the forest. “This should do nicely.” The man said as he got out of the carriage then helped Megan out. Megan looked at the area while her father unhitched her circus trailer. “Megan can you help me get the trailer unlatched?” Megan smiles and goes over to her father and pulls the latch up so that it comes off the back of the carriage and gently sets the trailer down. “Thank you dear.” The man said as he took the horse by the reigns and moved the carriage across from the trailer.
“You’re welcome father.” Megan replied as she went to enter the trailer the turned. “Will you be alright out her by yourself?” The man laughed lightly. “I will be fine. You go get settled in. I will sleep in the carriage. Its big enough.” Megan smiled. “Alright” then turned and went inside her trailer.
