The two of them hadn’t spoken a word to each other, but they had allied together for mutual safety in the face of a deathclaw tearing the area apart in attempts to catch food, and Cotton did not plan on being on the menu.
But when the other woman was pinned without so much as a knife on her, the ex-courier had assumed she was a goner, and no amount of 10mm lead was going to help her out; she felt horrible, but that was how the world was nowadays.
Then a sudden blast of strange green energy shot the beast back, and the demolitions expert, feeling that she was safe enough away, wasted no time by dropping a nuka grenade on top of it and then retreating away from the edge of the roof before it went off. The deathclaw was soon done for.
Cottonbelle turned her attention to the woman, wide eyed with a look of shock on her face. The blast hadn’t come from a weapon, it came from her hands. She was silent for a few moments, before that look of shock turned into one of pure joy.
“THAT WAS AWESOME!!!” She yelled. “Duude, you’re like, some kinda super-hero guy~!! How did you do that?”
