one thing parker had to admit about dean: he was never afraid to be bold. sometimes annoyingly so, though in this moment, it's at least amusing. and mostly true. parker is falling in love with dean. now, in his immortal life, part of him fears loving someone again. there were plenty of things that could go wrong with an admission such as that, the biggest being that he could lose the only companion he may have for the rest of eternity. neither of them could deny that their friendship had grown beyond their expectations, but could parker risk everything they built for a truth that could wait, say, another hundred years? he shakes his head, rolls his eyes, ( he wishes he had a beer in his hand — he wishes alcohol still worked on him ). 'you wish,' are the official words that leave his mouth, parker glancing at dean as nonchalantly as he can while still gauging a reaction. @wovetales.

CLAUDIA: HAS HE EVA TOLD YOU YOU WERE A MISTAKE? LESTAT, I MEAN.

people learned from myth and legend that vampires are monsters; creatures that maimed and drained victims to get their rocks off. and maybe they're right, to an extent. parker felt like less of a monster now than he did when he was a human. despite his bloodlust, his thirst, parker mostly used his new found power to contribute to his job. but the choice to become this hadn't entirely been his own — more of a subconscious determination brought forth by a lethal amount of alcohol. he was wasted when he pleaded for lestat to change him, hoping the transformation would take every ounce of his pain away. it didn't. and despite parker agreeing in a drunken stupor to become one of them, he can't help but to resent lestat for going through with it.

'he doesn't have to,' parker replies in a low murmur, throwing bloody clothes into the fire he had previously built. every time parker goes on a rampage, every time he yells or slams his fist through a wall, every time he doesn't exactly do what he's told to, parker can see the anger and regret in lestat's eyes. fire is reflected in parker's own before gaze moves to claudia. she, who always seems to get the brunt, violent end of lestat's disappointment. 'everything he does is a mistake. everything he creates... and we're the ones who have to deal with that,' there's something akin to sympathy in parker's eyes as they meet hers. 'do you think you're a mistake?' @roseguided.

LESTAT DE LIONCOURT: 29. A KISS OVER A WOUND.

never had parker experienced intimacy in the ( relatively ) short time he's lived on this earth. even with, what he likes to call, his ailment, parker's age only amounts to just over 60, and his body remains 35, stronger now than ever before. he was barely held as a child, less so as he grew into a man who was touch starved, but who's skin felt like it was burning every time someone attempted to embrace him. he wouldn't lie and say lestat's affection has been gentle ; nor parker's toward the other man - anything but, if the couple was being honest with themselves. but intimacy in this state, with someone you've bonded with through death and blood - it was unlike anything parker had ever felt, before.

both long - nailed hands clasp tightly around lestat's wrist. parker's mouth is open, his lips pressed against the sensitive skin there, his teeth red as they pull away from the slash that lestat has dug into his arm. to drink from a lover gave you strength, and a sense of euphoria that nothing else ever could. red eyes glanced up at lestat, stare dark, nearly lustful, as he licks blood from his lips. there is a moment of silence, the two staring at each other, daring the other to say something. when no words are uttered, parker bows his head once more, only to kiss away any remaining redness around the gash, pressing lips against the wound before he lets the arm go for good.

sitting back in his seat, parker gazes at his lover with satisfied eyes, tongue cleaning up the rest of the blood along his fangs, swallowing every last drop. 'you want a go, or was this somethin' special, just for me?' @lamourt.

not belonging to a coven gave parker plenty of room to do what needed to be done. even after being turned, he had decided to keep his day job - heightened senses helped catch those that were evil enough to make the world cruel, and he was able to hunt more of those monsters down at night when he was hungry. having been called to the murder capital of the world, parker knew upon arrival that there was already a group of vampires there, ones who were causing a lot of chaos in the small town sitting against the ocean. the agent leaned again a banister, staring at the woman he had met a few nights previous. he knew what she was, and she seemed to know what he was.  ‘you the only ones around here?’  parker asks, knowing star would understanding that he was talking about their kind, wondering if her and her  coven of adolescent punks were the only blood drinkers in santa clara. @pierprincess.

Nimble fingers reached up to burrow themselves into brunette hair as Elena furrowed her brows. Confused, she looked up to meet the other’s eyes, and with a long drawn out sigh, she finally spoke the dreaded words.

          ❝ No. I don’t. ❞

                              Here, Katherine sighs and paces the room with a thoughtful                               look, not even glacing at her doppelganger as she does so.                               Curls follow when she finally turns her head to scan Elena with                               her dark orbs, a mix of annoyance and frustration written in her                               arched eyebrows and quirked lips.
