"If by wish you mean working on some experiments in my ever dwindling freetime, then absolutely!" Emily chimed. The experiments had proved nothing thus far, but a girl could dream! "Why do you ask?"

"Teeeeexxaaaaaasssss" Emily giggled back "what do you need?"
"Doctor Grey, I think mister grumpy needs to see you...."
"oh dear! Well that is a shame" Emily went to grab her bag "would you mind telling me just what mister grumpy did this time?" 'stern talking to' is an understatement of what Emily is going to do to this man

"Yeah. I should of. I'm sorry." He seemed a bit nervous for a moment before suddenly his helmet slowly opened up on its own, deconstructing itself into small bits until his head was fully exposed. Long light blue and white hair flopped out of the back and long white canine like ears stuck upwards. His face was pale but seemingly flawless, eyes like amber and a smile warm and kind. Besides the ears, he seemed rather humanoid. "I'm Adam. Adam De Locke."
Emily watched the man, Adam, through the image on her HUD that the cyborg-esk eye on her helmet showed her. “Oh! That’s new” She exclaimed excitedly “Aand if we’re taking our helmets off-” The doctor pulled off her helmet, her straightened hair sticking to her neck and cheeks, purple tips curling slightly up. “-Ta-da!”
"Uh... One like to take things apart but also take people apart while the other is an alcoholic with anger issues and the strength of a hundred men. And then there's me, the masochist who hides his fractured mind behind a smile."
“I’d love to meet them” Emily mused, the fact that she wants to psychoanalyze them implied in her giddy excitement “They sound absolutely fascinating! And your self awareness is astounding” she said that like a complement.

Emily had left on a research trip yesterday, and was currently deep in one of Chorus’s forests to collect data on the flora and fauna for a running file she had. Decidedly the absolute worst part of research trips like this one is that she can’t hum or sing for fear of alerting the animals.
On the subject of animals, if the unusual rusling of he brush was anything to judge by; some thing was just ahead. Expecting to find a small creature Dr. Grey pushed the brush aside with baited breath and- “Oh dear! You’re not a native species. What are you doing out here?”
