im Eyes Emoji at that hollow gods au you just posted smth abt??? like. what im getting from it is dee and virgil are gods and dee has some sort of ruler role (based on that throne hes on), no idea what virgil's role/place in the heirarchy that may or may not exist is? roman is there but i cant tell much abt him, he looks maybe injured??? or hes fine and just looking down- in summary i dont really have a specific question im just generally interested in this au-
OOOH OK YEAH I HAVE A LOT OF STUFF TO SAY ABT THIS AU
so long story short its a sanders sides au based in the universe for one of my oc stories, Hollow Gods (hence the name hollow gods au)
i wont go entirely ham explaining the universe lore but basically deceit and virgil are indeed both gods- deceit is Fallen (which in this context means he had his mask ripped off in the past and was thrown out of god heaven), and virgil isn't fallen but he is a bit of an outsider, he's not very well known or liked by many people.
Roman, logan, and patton (along with maybe remy and emile ?? if i decide to include them to flesh out the cast) are all members of the high council, which is just a fancy name for the gods who call the shots.
they're kinda like the olympians- the most well known gods, they make up a pantheon and all live in the big god palace together and all that jazz. there are other gods, but they aren't as often worshipped/regarded as highly as the council gods.
Deceit (along with the help of remus, who is also fallen) wants revenge on the god king, character thomas, for kicking him out a long time ago, and so he sneaks his way into the palace and kills the king- hence thomas's shattered mask floating above him when he's in the throne. (he's also holding his crown).
Roman is next in line for the throne (hes not like thomas's son or anything he's just chosen to be the next ruler based on like. princely virtues and shit) and deceit kills him too- or at least, he would have, if roman hadn't been dragged away at the last second by Someone
So now virgil and an injured roman are hiding out in the mortal world from deceit and remus, and trying to find a way to take the throne back, and things dont look so good for them, unfortunately.

there's a lot more about worldbuilding/god workings that i have since it's a whole oc universe but i dont want this post to be Miles Long so !!
