There had already been someone tanky and hulking among Ezra's lot. But now they were getting some help from the local strain of do-gooders, including a visiting Rex, who was patched through to Ezra once things slowed down for a moment.

"Your team should take care in this area. There was a mass empowering event three days ago, my new friends here tell me they're still trying to sort out moral alignments on everybody who got exposed."

Ezra is thankful for transfers and a new start. Getting transferred to the Torrance branch of the SDN helped him start with a clean slate. No one hear knows he has powers. No one here knows his in the field days are over because of a space toxin that has limited his powers. These days his powers are more of a last ditch survival tool than something that can be used to help someone else.

Speaking of toxins the rash scar on his cheek aches. It thankfully has already run its course so the toxin and its related scar aren't spreading. However it is a noticeable, black spiderweb like scar that much to his frustration refuses to be hidden even with high quality make up. He scratches because it relieves the ache. His scratching draws attention to the scar, however.
