I look over at the nearby corkboard, attempting to gleam any other information that would inform us about this AI.

You notice that the corkboard is in fact a conspiracy board! A few things stand out, there's a picture of an alolan vulpix that looks similar to V2, except it has binary eyes unlike V2's solid green ones, and has various light blue bows, there are a few sticky notes beside it, the first one reading, "V1, though she prefers the name-" a coffee stain seemed to have smeared the ink, making the name illegible... the second sticky note is a lot more worrying, reading, "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry".

Your eyes move to a photo of a completely destroyed building, only the foundation and a bit of rubble remain, a note by the photo reads, "Where V1 and V2 were created, and nearly my grave. Glad it's gone..."

There seems to be a little info about your mysterious benefactor here as well... But that's not what you wanted to look at, was it?

Wait. Twelve years ago? What happened twelve years ago-? o.o

V2 seems confused by this, “What do you mean? It’s only been two days, right?” Asked V2, seeming to be unaware of any passage of time from within the usb.

It seems you aren’t going to get much information about what happened twelve years ago from V2, but the lab may have some clues, the corkboard seems like an excellent place to start

(@ask-the-shiny-pokemons) Wil enters the lab and sees a strange Vulpix (which seems to be oddly familiar, but it's not) and overheard something. "Hi! This place seems...unique. I've overheard about men with a red R... Wait, don't tell me it's..." He is shocked when he hears about it. Referencing Team Rocket of course, though he couldn't mention it directly.

V2 looks confused, "It's what? What do y-" She's cut off as the computer turns off before turning back on again, but instead of V2, there's a black silhouette of a human being, their voice being rather distorted, and the video seems staticky as well, "Yes, they were Team Rocket, I have planted clues here to expose the truth, find them, and reveal the greater story of what happened twelve years ago..." it said, the computer once again turning off and back again, V2 back on the screen, "-ou mean?" said V2, clearly not only unaware of what just happened, she had no clue any time just passed, what exactly was going on here?
