Went out in V8I, V8II, and Freshman 4 again. Preparing for Head of the Ohio.
This practice was optional due to us going over our allotted hours for the week. Most people showed up, but because not all showed up, 2 novices were place in both 8's. I was bow seat.
Technique up to bridge:
Rusty Roll up drill (tap down drill), pause drill, row it out by 6's.
Played leap frog all the way back to the dock. Coach asked us to walk the other boat in 10 strokes. The V8I did this easily, my boat, the V8II consistently required 30+ strokes to walk the V8I. Catches were not together, especially with novice in 2 seat. Rush was apparent.
Riggers broke in both V8I and V8II.
After we went to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk for the cure in Downtown Pittsburgh.
