Define stupid.

Link knows what he’s done will likely cause issues. That’s why he did so in the first place. Many among his year-group have already resorted to petty pranks && behaviors solely to one up each other. They call him a stuffy maid when he refuses to join. He had refused because he’d already plotted out his revenge, beautifully scripted in such a manner that none would trace the sudden suffering of the pages within the group to him. He rarely suffered abuse, so opting out of this one would hardly cause those who sniffed at him to look in his direction.

Was it petty to stuff their clothing with poison ivy?

Absolutely. He’d be wearing gloves for a week, but it was worth it.

Goht's Remains: what's a point in your muse's life where they had to bargain for something dear to them? freedom, life, perhaps an object? was it really so important to them? if so, why?

There are only two verses where Malik has had to at a point beg for something, Ocarina of Time, Downfall, I would like to think he begged for Zelda’s life, for her to live, he’d have given his life for hers. She is family to him, and Malik has lost family before, it kills him inside to lose someone whose gotten close again. The other is in Breath of the Wild when he begs for forgiveness from the Goddess, he wasn’t born into the Yiga Clan, but he lived there his whole life until his doubts grew so numerous he struck out on his own. The most important things to him are Loyalty and Truth,  this ties into the begging because Loyalty to his family, and who Zelda embodies, and the Truth that the Yiga Clan denies.

“What’s wrong with me?” He knew she did not mean to hear it, && so he turns away, grips the divine blade tighter upon the hilt. He has no words for her. What does he do, what does he say?

He hates himself - for being so stuck in this silence to a point that he could not comfort his princess.
