I can only assume that my travel headaches are a symptom of failure to excitedly tumblr about this trip.
So, yesterday, Spirit decided not to fly. The best they could do was send me on a flight that would land around the time when my friends' wedding was set to start. Clearly, not ok. So i rebooked on Frontier for today. The parking lot was full, so i had to get to the one hella far from the airport, but I was responsible and left enough time (I thought). It took 45 minutes from parking my car for the shuttle to get me to the ticketing counters. I was still 40 minutes early for my flight at this point. Unfortunately, Frontier wouldn't give me a ticket for my flight since they stop giving them 45 minutes before the flight (even though the door only closes 10 minutes before the flight). So they charged me a rebooking fee to put me on the 6pm flight instead of the 3pm flight. Note: I still made it through security and was in the terminal as they started boarding the flight I was supposed to be on.... *let alone all the stuff work has thrown at me even though i'm going on vacasian*
Whatever, all the airport drama aside- I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED TO GET TO CHICAGO!!!!!!!
My friends are getting married tomorrow! I get to see my friends get married! I get to see other friends that aren't getting married! I get to be in Chicago!!!!!!!!!! HFS, I'm sitting here tapping my feet like it'll make the next hour fly by so I can get on this plane to Midway....
And I won't be back in Denver until Monday. This is going to be a great weekend/vacasian! :-)
