We went to the Archaeological Museum in Palermo and it was really good, despite the fact only the ground floor is currently open. I like alcoves so when I found the one in the photograph, I naturally got in it. When I saw the photo later, I had to laugh because it looked as if I was a museum specimen in the alcove 🤣 We met the turtle in the bottom picture as we were leaving; he and a few friends live in the little pool in the quadrangle Garden. The Lovely Husband thought he was animatronic at first, before he looked more closely and realised he was actually alive!
