Thought journal 8/14/2026

So how was that vacation that I went on that I mentioned in my last thought journal ? Well, with the exception of me coming home to a stomach ache (seriously why does that have to happen), the vacation was pretty OK.

Alongside eating some nice boardwalk treats, I did mini golf, went swimming in the hotel pool, and just overall enjoyed myself for the short but sweet two days that I was down there.

I'll admit I'm not a big fan of the beach (the feeling of sand on my feet drives me insane and beaches tend to be pretty dirty), but I do love going to beach towns.

Funny enough, I kind of enjoy them more when it's off season. Thanks to my grandma I've taken shore trips off season in the winter and fall, and while yes it is as abandon as a desert, there are some area's of the shore towns that are open all year around, or have something going on that's worth checking out.

It's also kind of peaceful. There aren't as many people down there so there's less of a crowd, and the waves still crash upon the shore just as they would in the summer time.

There's also this photo I took down the shore that features one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever taken in spite of it being taken during late October.

One final thing I'll mention about the vacation is that I'm glad I chose to take a break from let's plays during the week I went down. Feeling burnt out aside, I really wanna get into the habit of avoiding social media when I'm on vacation weather it be a day trip or a vacation of some kind.

Yes I know it's easier said then done, but I'm there to have a good time and get away from things that stress me out, and those things involve some of the things that tend to be posted on social media...

That said to those who do follow me on Youtube, I hope you enjoy what I got coming up the week of the 17th. It's a plumber who works all 4 seasons followed by an anthology that was recommended to me by a dog who see's things with kinder eyes and a cat that likes sushi.
