This summer, my wife and I took a trip to Widow's Bay… It's the next Martha's Vineyard and definitely not cursed! ⚓️
The hit Apple TV series may be set on a fictional island, but its eerie coastal backdrop is actually real-life New England. To fully realize that world, the cast and crew did much of their filming around Gloucester and Rockport, MA, and it was a blast visiting many of the actual filming locations! These included:
Half Moon Beach (where Tom kicked off the summer by taking the first plunge in the “Mayor's Inaugural Swim”) 🏖️
Eastern Point Lighthouse (where the eccentric lighthouse keeper Garrett communicates with Tom via walkie-talkie from) 🧭
The Harbor Master's Office (where the ferries take mainlanders to/from Widow’s Bay and where Tom and Wyck first butt heads) 🛥️
The Ice Cream Store (where sweet treats were enjoyed at the center of town) 🍦
Patricia's Reading Spot (where she became entranced by the mysterious book she thought was teaching her to throw the perfect party) 📚
Widow's Bay Town Center & The Salty Whale (the nicest restaurant in town where Patricia held her “Sunset Cocktails” party) 🍹
