Can some pigeons be too old to vaccinate or can literally any pigeon be vaccinated?

I wouldn't say there is a too old, but there is a certain degree of immunocompromised that can make the presently available vaccine potentially dangerous.

I have had some premature hatches that survived past weaning, but 9 weeks turned out not to be a long enough wait to vaccinate them.

For reference, I give healthy birds their initial vaccines at 6 weeks, followed by boosters at 9.
