TW: Body dysmorphia. The two images in the left are from 2021, roughly a year after gastric bypass. The image in the right was this morning. I’m tracking my progress because I felt like I had gained weight when in fact I’m around the same as the previous photos but the difference is I I was slight scrawnier in the other photos and hadn’t been building muscle. While I do want to be shredded I don’t like feel as though I had failed from one set photos I o the next. There are some days where I wake up thinking I’m still 300lbs, but I still I’ll grind. I do my plan, I lift, run, eat, and drink a ton of water. I guess it just take some perspective, hard work and a recognition of how far I’ve have come rather than focusing on how far I have to go. Be kind to yourselves, my friends. I’ll try to practice what I preach. #Bariatric #fitness #vacuumpose (at SIU Student Recreation Center) https://www.instagram.com/p/CoYfPu9r8ad/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
