So I keep messing with my dad’s iPhone keyboard shortcuts, So a couple of weeks back I made, “ok yes”- vada pau. And. And ok no- vada pau. So this one fine day of the same week, my mom decides she is going to be confused for the whole day, and calls him just about eleven times in one hour, for absurd reasons. So later, when she actually needed something important and she had to tell my dad she’s leaving office, he was in the middle of a call, so she just ended up messaging him. So, my dad decides to reply with “ok, yes” which changes to vadapau without his notice. So my mom is just like what. The thing with my dad is he’s like a child at times, so he’s very capable of making my mom go out of her way on her way from office to buy a vada pau. So my mom replies with “vada pau??” All this while my dad doesn’t realise as he’s in the middle of a call.h e ignores this message and doesn’t read it. Then she messages him again saying do you want vada pau. His reply is vada pau. So my mom goes out of her way at peak traffic time to but vada pau. Then! Then! She messages my dad saying got the vada pau. That’s when my dad read the messages and realised what has happened. But. He was out that day with colleagues so he ate and came home. We both found it hilarious, but my mom just gave us really dirty looks.
