This song on repeat while I write Vader, frantically searching for Padmé in the forest.

He knows his stormtroopers will likely kill her if he doesn't reach her first– because he literally ordered them to show no mercy toward any of the rebels, not realizing his wife is alive, not realizing she's a rebel, not realizing coms are down and he can't communicate with his men and tell them to stop.

For five years, he's tried to find a way to bring her back from the dead.
