I say go for it! I've written a few smut pieces myself. It took me writing a few timestamps to get comfortable writing the smut in my january hongjoong fic, but it was so worth it.

I will say to figure out what your boundaries are with writing smut. Apart from my hongjoong fic, for example, I only write sub!idol smut bc it's what I like writing/reading.
