Goodmorning time to get thinking
Have you seen those people posting those unboxing videos of "huge shein squishie hauls" or just unboxing massive amounts of those fuckass dumplings or those cheese mfs and needohs
I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting a stress ball type toy or whatever they look fun as hell but it gets to a POINT dude why do you need two dozen of them when I get you anything you'll leave them in your "aesthetic storage box" and barely touch them after
Don't even get me started on the dumplings especially people be buying up so many just for glitter and if they don't get the glitter then what???
AND DUDE FROM SHEIN TOO???? "It's cheap!" For a reason brother my god literally go anywhere else or think to yourself do I really need to be spending a hundred quid on bloody squishy shit
I get like one okay yeah you've seen needohs around and wanna try one for yourself that's natural but dude having boxes upon boxes is just not
Yes yes agree agree agree I am hating the new overconsumption trend it pmo so much. You do not need all of that, heck you don't even /want/ all of that, you just want content or money (from reselling it).
Adding to this also the huge unnecessary bathroom restocks/kitchen restocks/[smth else] restocks where you have so many unnecessary things. The kitchen one I am less peeved at because it's food and they're gonna be eating it anyway, but it just seems extra. The bathroom one however, I saw this thing where like people have cupboards full of 20 different types of body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion/hair mask/hair mud/body butter/whatever the fuck else. And like. You aren't using all of that. There is NO WAY you will use 20 bottles of body wash before it expires. It's just fucking wasteful.
Coming back to the squishy thing, there's nothing wrong with having a collection, collections are cool, I collect trinkets I get from other countries when I go on holiday (souvenirs)(pretty sure like 90% of the population collects souvenirs lol) but needohs/stress toys have a purpose kinda, to unstress you by being used. Plus they're all mostly the same, save for different colours. It baffles me (haha are you baffled too bird bandit?) that some people don't see a problem in having piles upon piles of cubes.
There is definitely more I can say on this but I am tired and my brain ain't fully awake yet
