@vagabondis liked for a starter!
There had been rumors, of course. Whispers spreading through INTERPOL, tales of the lawless Orre region, and of the Pokemon that didn’t behave like they should. There was uproar when the S.S. Libra vanished, but Orre was difficult to reach. Dangerous, even, for any non-Trainer. Looker would have taken the case, had it not been for the recent stain on his record, and his resultant lack of any Pokemon partner. It was frustrating, to say the least. A mystery, a perfect case ripe for investigation, and he could do nothing but wait and hope that someone else could solve it.
He had taken a walk to clear his mind, his hands shoved deep in his pockets. Even with his ID badge tucked safely inside, the pockets still felt empty without his partner’s Pokeball. Reminded of the loss, Looker’s jaw clenched, and his brows furrowed. Don’t cry. Don’t cry. He admonished himself, and simply drove himself onward.
Unfortunately, he hadn’t been paying attention to where he was going, and he collided with someone else. His hands flew out of his pockets, swinging outward to recover his balance, taking a couple stumbling steps backwards.
“Perdóneme! Scusi! I greatly apologize! My focus lapsed and I didn’t... see... you...”
The apology died on his lips, as he took notice of the device on the other’s arm. Was that...? Could it be...? Looker’s mouth hung open, and his gaze lingered on the snag machine for much longer than would be considered polite. What was he to do now, in the presence of a possible Pokemon thief?
