chair blogging 🪑

been researching office chair ergonomics because I wanna invest in a proper office chair instead of always picking whatever free chair I can get my hands on. decided I wanna get a chair with head and neck support and adjustable armrests.

went to IKEA with my yeye today and spent over twenty minutes sitting in a bunch of chairs to compare how comfortable they are and 😩😭 the really comfortable ones are so expensive!!

I really like the GRUPPSPEL which is $400AUD (£200GBP). my second pick would be the JARVFJALLER which is $350AUD (£175GBP). could maybe settle on the MATCHSPEL which is $250AUD (£125GBP)… but I really didn’t like it as much as the other two 💔

I’ve never bought a ✨nice✨ office chair before (genuinely every single office chair I’ve ever had has been free from marketplace or picked up off the street) so I had no idea they cost so much 💀 BUT I also had no idea office chairs could be comfortable lol. so there’s that.

gonna bookmark the chairs on the website and regularly check for sales, and keep an eye on marketplace/gumtree for anyone selling theirs.
