help me move back to michigan
hello. ive never made one of these posts before so bear with me.
in april, i had to move back in with my mom because of financial situations. i didnt really want to, but the goal was to just wait it out, get a good job here, and then move back next spring.
to be frank, i dont want to wait that long. my moms house is very frequently without food, the place is a mess (dirt/mud caked on the floor, mold everywhere, animal piss and shit all over the floor), and my mom and stepdad are very frequently yelling at each other.
today while taking a shower, the floor ended up flooding and i had a very bad breakdown because of it. it feels like every time one thing goes right, 10 things go wrong.
i want to expedite the process of me getting to michigan, because as it is now, i dont think i can work while dealing with this home life. the last time i lived with my mom, i was in and out of the mental hospital for a full year. i can't afford for that to happen again.
i do have a job, but it's a part time library page. because of it being a municipal job, applying for a second job would be challenging. there's paperwork that goes into it.
my moms inability to keep bare essentials in the house has been detrimental to me. her and my stepdad have severe gambling addictions and spend hundreds a month on lottery tickets, even when we have no food in the house.
my part time job doesn't give me much per month. i will be saving as much as i can each month, but i would like to expedite this process in any way possible.
my goal would be somewhere around $6500 to be able to get fully settled and living comfortably. it's a lofty goal, and i'm sorry. i will still be working, and the majority of my paychecks will go towards this, so the goal should diminish over time.
