V A L E N T I N O; Going all in
Orion had been giving Valentino his space between everything that was happening. Between the task, then to his friend Ahren, and the time it took for him to heal---it forced a lot out of Orion to not be clingy. His nature was to latch on, to love deeply and foolishly but he reeled himself in. Between seeing his boyfriend between classes or sometimes at dinner, the rest of his time was updating him about Arhen. Their time before the competition felt so long ago, but still burned a fierce memory that Orion held on tightly to; even reveled in it when he was alone at night. So now it being about a week since things were getting back to normal, he made his way to Valentino’s living quarters a short walk off the castle grounds. He asked a few other students where he needed to go, others made twisted faces and pointed, which he found strange but ingored it.
Walking up towards one of the marked doorframes, he saw his boy sitting at his desk, before he knocked on the wood. “Hey, sorry to drop in. Bad timing?”
