Number 6 :D
(Answering the rest of these!)
On a sunny Tuesday afternoon, the late sunlight glowing in your hair.
Everything had gone just as he’d planned.
They had eaten breakfast in the castle, taken a walk through town to pick up a few things, and then left town and walked through the rolling fields in Arendelle.
Kristoff could tell Anna was growing tired, her steps slowed as they neared a large tree. “Almost there.” Kristoff gently encouraged her.
They stopped at the tree and Kristoff spread a blanket out. He set the basket he had been carrying down, and Anna plopped down on the blanket, her skirt fanning out around her.
“I brought us a late lunch.” Kristoff smiled.
Anna kissed his cheek as she opened the basket and began to pull out sandwiches the kitchen had made for them.
She ate quietly, and stared out into the field.
“Something on you mind?” Kristoff asked.
“Just thankful we got to spend today together before you have to leave tomorrow.” Anna looked back at him.
Kristoff smiled. He knew leaving was hard for her, but he also wasn’t cut out to be cooped up in a castle. As Royal Ice Master and Deliverer he had his duties.
As they finished eating, Anna stretched out on the blanket. Kristoff smiled at her and she patted her hand on the blanket next to her. “Come here ice man.” She bit her lip, trying to hold back her contagious laughter.
Kristoff stretched out next to her watching the glow of the late afternoon sun in her copper hair.
He leaned into her and kissed her nose. She scrunched her nose and curled up closer to him.
Everything seemed quiet here. It was slow, and they could enjoy each other’s company. He could forget he would have to leave at dawn, and he knew Anna wouldn’t sleep until he returned.
She played with his fingers as they laid peacefully together.
Kristoff wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer.
“I love you.” He whispered and pressed a kiss into the top of her head.
He had said it a thousand times, but this time it was soft and slow. It was rich and warm.
Anna curled closer to him, hands gripping the front of his tunic, “I love you too.”
