Hi, I don't spend much time in the ACOTAR fandom but read the books, sorry if this question has been addressed but has Sarah ever said why there is no twilight/dusk court on the map? Seems like if she was going to skip that she'd skip having dawn. Nesta is often described as wearing purple and her room was described as being in colors of purple, blues, and silvers. I'm probably reaching at any potential connection, except she does tend to load hints like that. Thank you. :)
@valamerys look dude, this nonnie understands you and your struggles. Since you don’t really go here Claire is this fandom’s go to ‘why is the worldbuilding like that?’ person (and you should go read her elucien fic in which much of this worldbuilding is fixed by her entirely capable hands) OKAY FRIEND PLUGGING DONE ONTO BUSINESS. (I figured you might have Thoughts on this Claire, hence the tag)
The Nesta/human realm dusk connection is interesting and it’s not one I’ve ever thought of. It could very well be the case that the dusk court was converted into the human worlds after the wall and the treaty and all that jazz.
I’m not sure if Nesta’s colouring is applicable for evidence there (I always read it as connected to her personality?
Purple tends to be associated with royalty and Nesta is compared to a queen several times. Blue and silver remind me of the ice and steel imagery that gets used with her quite a bit) but it could be dusky too and Nesta ends up High Lady of the reinstated Dusk Court which happens to be where all the humans are gathered. (Theory or not I enjoy this as fic/headcanon exploration because it’s interesting and I enjoy Nesta retaining a connection to the mortal realm and wishing to protect people still)
