“The colors of the forest always drew my eye. The soft greens as the sun lit the leaves. The darker greens of the moss that clung to the shadowy places. The vibrant life that punctuated the quiet landscape. 

Now, I tend to gravitate toward the ever changing colors of the rivers. Sometimes reflecting the myriad of stones that lay placidly at the bottom. The streak of blues and whites as the current pulls it ever forward. I suppose in my own way, I’ve learned to appreciate all the dynamic hues of the world. “

“Mellifluous”

6. Cat or dog person?

Cat. I enjoy their quick change from full on neediness to utter independence.”

“ It certainly depends on the situation but I tend to lean toward quiet.”

Angst, smut, darker themes are the easiest for me. I don’t mind fluff. But I tend to get bored if it's nothing but sunshine and puppies for too long in a role play.

I wouldn’t say I think anything is truly overused. I do find anything that is straight fluff all the time bores me. I think it has its place and I am sure some people love large amounts of fluff which is great. Its just not my thing and I tend to make characters that need a balance or leans toward more complex darker story lines.

The only reputation I heard about you before getting to follow you was. well, 'go follow Cen, she and Kari write great OTP stuff and she's wonderful OOC' from a friend, who was helping me pick new people to follow with my new blog. I'm glad I listened to him!

Where is our friend? Tell him I say hello since he seems to have forsaken me to forever school :D

Kari and I are very obviously biased about their relationship but I’m glad others enjoy it as well! 

All these positive vibes certainly help push me to RP and write more so I very much appreciate it <3 Perhaps one of these days we’ll get to do some of that together :)

blue: what do you do when you’re sad? what are some things you do when you can’t sleep? what was the best (non-romantic) night you’ve had? what kind of covers do you have on your bed? who is the last person you told a secret to?

-what do you do when you’re sad?Pamina’s likely to curl up and drink the day away, honestly. She doesn’t handle sadness very well. And in most cases, sadness comes hand in hand with anger, so there might be a few broken bottles around.

-what are some things you do when you can’t sleep?Not being able to sleep is common for her. She’ll usually read until it knocks her out or, if the option is available to her, ask Nikklaus to sing to her. That’s a surefire way to put her to sleep. The other means are less, um, PG.

-what was the best (non-romantic) night you’ve had?Non-romantic? She can’t pinpoint just one, really, but I’d look to any of the nights she’s spent with Analeil. Her time in Ravenwood, at least most of it, likely counts, too.   

-who is the last person you told a secret to? Velarianna, though it’s not a secret anymore.

Scarab Beetle - How resilient is your character?

I would say Cen is now a fairly resilient character. It’s taken a great many years of horrible things happening to get there, but she can withstand most on her own. 

She’s got cracks for certain but it’s hard to dig in too deep without her retaliating in some form. Her family both strengthens her and adds more of those cracks. 

There was a time before the portal opened where she was an assistant to the Lord of the House, helping to lead their forces movements in the Blasted Lands (Heading into Draenor), fighting every day (while getting injured a lot of the times), and trying to hold together a marriage. It was a moment that showed how much she could take because she had to and eventually it destabilized her in some ways. Then she went through the portal and had to do it all over again. It brought back her old rage and trust issues. 

It wasn’t really until her recent marriage that put her back on firmer ground.

2, 3, and 8 for the writer questions (I'm probably like 2 days late for them, but still)

Favorite tense (past/present/future):

I’m not sure that I have a favorite tense but I tend to write more in the present.. I also use the past tense but hardly ever the future. 

Favorite POV (first/second/third/etc):

Probably third person. I tend to write the most stories in this point of view. 

I have another character Binny that I tend to switch between second and third. 

Generally, first person is only something I use for short blurbs. To me, it feels too awkward to write a whole story that way and I don’t know why!

Is there a character you love writing for the most? the least? why?

Centori is the easiest for me to write for because I just can get in her head space without much effort.

Binny is my goblin and probably the most fun because I can show a side of my writing that I don’t get to very often. 

I had a character named Janylle. She was a shy little priest and my first attempt at an alt after Cen. It was a silly amount of effort to write for her and it stressed me out.
