My brain connected these dots: Failure Conditions with all the issues and all Cas' cogs turning around his physical sensations going into his angelic senses + how Cas' haircut changed in later seasons and it's longer in the back/nape -> -> -> destiel hair pulling

I think he would enjoy that especially in a retirement scenario, and I think if he grew his hair out a little longer, it'd slot into how sometimes he CAN be a little slouchy/lazy with presentation. (The hairy Cas agenda, yay.) Trash TV and no-why-would-I-need-to-groom.
BONUS: Dean gets a little silly with braiding and playing with it sometimes.
