Summary: Life is not always a Lou Reed song.
Mod comments: Although this fic is based off a Lou Reed song, I associate it with this song of the same name much more. Bradley persuades Colin to spend the day with him, and the author's description of, "overly-analysed emotion and angsty schmoop," is really the only way to describe what happens next. It's brilliantly written, with things that make you want to squeal and physically scoop the fic up in your arms to coo at it as well as things that make you really sit back and think for a moment, especially when it comes to the guilt Colin feels after realising his attraction to Bradley goes against everything he's been brought up to believe in - not only can I personally relate to it myself, but the topic is dealt with surprisingly well in this fic. And don't worry - the sudden twist and topsy-turvy emotions all make for an conclusion you'll love, so make sure you hang on in there 'til the end!
