Kieran was born in Greenwich, England. He never met his father as he had left Kierans mother, after she found out she was pregnant; not wanting to take upon raising the kid and providing.
His childhood wasn’t a happy one either Kieran was often left alone at home or with daycare, as his mother hat to pick up 2 more jobs to provide a somewhat stable upbringing for her son. He was often bullied as kid and made fun off, as he had to wear old and ripped open clothes as kid until his mother has saved up some money to buy new clothes (or get a few more things secondhand).
Kieran had to raise himself more often, than he was raised by his mother, still being a polite child, even to his bullies in school, until the day he overheard even the adults speaking about Mrs. Vale, whispering about her being a bad mother and the kids picking it up. Kieran punches several kids, that had talked shit about his mother and instead of punish the bullies, he got punished by the teachers; something that already crushed the kids trust into authorities. During his school time, Kieran started to develop anger issues and a good amount of self hatred.
After another change of school, Kieran and his mother moved back to her hometown, Brooklyn, where he went to high school.
In his teens, he became more and more reckless, picking up smoking and fought with other teens and young adults almost on a daily basis. He even taught himself how to pickpocket, what brought him into juvenile. In this high school days, Kieran never really had real friends, often was picked last in PE classes and group projects and was practically shut out by his class.
After graduation, Kieran actually didn’t knew what to do with his life, so he started to pick up tinkering; first with some electronics here and there, before he started to modify a drone of his. Kieran eventually started to learn more about different modifications of drones, even started to go to uni, his major being engineering; where he left mid 3rd semester.
After another year of mostly staying at home, hitting the gym or riding his bike Kieran went to the military, going through the training and joining his first squad. During his time in the military, Kieran started to get more comfortable his his body and self image again; even developing a cocky attitude, which he uses to conceal his fears.
Kieran didn’t stayed with the military for long; serving his mandatory years, before he joined the CIA, working mostly on SpecOps or BlackOps missions. On one of these missions he was paired up with Margot and since then they somehow ended up as friends. Kieran kinda sees a little sister in Margot, and they surely behave like siblings; with Margot probably being the only person so far that is able to see through his mask.
In the CIA he had specialized himself in drone usage, even managed to modify a handful of the drones he owns. Thanks to Kate Laswell, who had pulled many strings for him, his drones were approved and since then, he uses them in his missions.
Kate was also the one, who introduced Captain Price to Kieran, when they’d worked together on a mission.
